Review from Reader

I love this book! I think that title might have people questioning whether to pick it up but since I have little experience with newborns I found it extremely helpful. It has clearly labeled sections that made it really easy to find what I was looking for. I also felt that it focused on what moms to be really need to know and it was not designed just to scare them. I also felt that it was very easy to read and understand. Thus far, it has addressed all of my mommy concerns!

This is why the author created “the wonder weeks” which includes a; week-by-week guide to baby’s behavior, when to expect the fussy behavior, what this implies (cranky, clingy, crying (the three C’s) behavior) and how to deal with these regression periods (leaps) and a description from your baby’s perspective of the world around him and how you can understand the changes he’s going through. The author also suggests fun games and gentle activities you can do with your child!

“As first-time parents, we read many books. This is one of the best. It explains how your baby develops week-by-week, which is a big help in understanding why he is fussy this week when he was calm last week. This book is a great learning resource. I can’t imagine going through those early months without this.”
