Recently, more women have assumed the role of breadwinner and have become an integral part of the economy and providing for their families. We’ve compiled a list of jobs that are great for pregnant women or women who are planning a pregnancy.

1. Customer Service Representative (CSR)
A job as a customer service representative is a great way for expecting mothers to continue working during their pregnancy. Many positions are flexible with hours and days; some positions even allow employees to work remotely. One of the benefits of working as a CSR is the lack of heavy lifting or strenuous movement. Customer service positions pay reasonably well, and there is usually a lot of variety in the types of CSR positions employees can hold.

2. Secretary/Office Clerk
Working in an office is one of the best options for expecting mothers. Most secretaries answer phones and do administrative tasks. These tasks usually do not involve heavy lifting or anything too intense. Office clerks perform tasks such as data entry and ordering supplies for their office.

3. Graphic designer
If you have an eye for design and know your way around software such as Adobe suite and Canva, graphic design might be a great position for you. Graphic designers have the freedom and flexibility to work when and where they want. This role is great for expecting mothers because it offers them free time to plan for their new baby.

4. Bank teller
A job at a bank usually does not involve much movement, besides handling money. Also, banks provide on-the-job training, so people without experience working at a bank can still apply.
